Discover Corsica Differently
From Calvi to Ajaccio, the "Slow-paced" GT20 West route invites you to discover one of Corsica’s most beautiful regions over five days. It is a wonderful journey taken at a leisurely pace—spanning five stages of 35 to 55 km each—allowing you to explore the island's wonders without ever rushing.
You start at the coast and head toward the red rock formations of Piana, then follow the shoreline to the Porto nature reserve. A free day in Porto offers a welcome break, featuring a boat excursion to explore the Scandola Reserve. You will ride through wild landscapes, authentic villages, and spectacular coastal scenery, eventually arriving in Napoleon’s hometown. Each stage along the West Coast reveals a new facet of the island.
The "Slow" pace gives you the time to truly savor the experience: stopping at a beach, in a village, or at a local producer's table. It is a grand crossing of the West that is accessible to everyone.
Our trips are shaped by a single conviction: no two people experience a journey in the same way.
Some dream of crossing Corsica in total independence, facing the island on their own. Others love the idea of crossing paths with fellow travelers, sharing a drink in the evening, a stage of the journey, or a new encounter. And many want a bit of both, depending on the day or their mood. That’s why we’ve designed our trips to let you make that choice—from the first day to the last.
A few days before departure, you can join a WhatsApp group with other travelers setting off on the same day. It’s a place to share impressions and discoveries, arrange to meet up for drinks or dinner, and sometimes even make new friends. Our team moderates the group throughout the journey. Your travel guide provides everything you need to fully enjoy your crossing independently: the route, the stages, our recommended spots, and must-see locations.
Ride solo or meet up with others—you don’t have to decide right now. That’s what traveling freely is all about.
Two ways to experience this trip
-"Comfort" option: luggage transfer included, guaranteed departures – from €700/person.

We own our fleet: purchased and maintained in our Ajaccio workshops, and delivered to Calvi by our team for your departure.

Bike pickup at our Cyclospot boutique located right opposite the airport, bike setup. The road descends from Calvi to the west, alternating beaches and cliffs, then crosses inner Balagne with valleys, rivers and dense maquis. Mountains get closer and vegetation becomes wilder before reaching Galéria, a small village nestled between preserved sea and relief.

The road runs along a very wild coast: dense maquis, sheer cliffs and turquoise sea. It crosses narrow valleys before climbing back up towards red reliefs. Arrival at Porto reveals the Genoese tower, the port and the mountains that close the valley.

Day dedicated to maritime exploration with a boat excursion to the Scandola nature reserve, a protected jewel with vertiginous cliffs and turquoise waters. A privileged moment to observe marine fauna and rock formations inaccessible by land.

The road leaves Porto by climbing the red reliefs of the Calanques of Piana, offering spectacular views over the gulf. It continues as a corniche above the sea, between cliffs and fragrant maquis, before arriving at Cargèse, luminous on its promontory.

The road follows a wild coast between fragrant maquis, rolling hills and open views over the sea. More intimate landscapes, until reaching Ajaccio. The panorama opens onto the large luminous bay: the imperial city appears, dominated by its citadel.
