Head south to Bonifacio, its vertiginous cliffs, then immediate immersion in the wild interior with the climb to Zicavo. Days chain between passes, isolated roads and grandiose panoramas until Corte, before swinging to Cape Corse and its challenging profiles. Balagne offers brief respite, soon replaced by the demanding return to Porto, then the final stage to Ajaccio to complete this major tour.
