The Tour of Upper Corsica Sporty
Over five days, you will traverse Haute-Corse, tackling long, demanding stages—covering up to 125 km with over 2,000 m of elevation gain—designed for regular, experienced cyclists. Starting from Bastia, you immediately dive into a route built for endurance and steady pacing. You’ll head to the very tip of Cap Corse before making your way to Saint-Florent, then ride across the Balagne region to the Scandola Reserve.
Next, you’ll reach the Calanques de Piana and Porto, home to a distinctive square Genoese tower. The climb up the Col de Vergio takes you into the heart of Corsica toward its former capital, Corte. Finally, the route leads to the Col de Teghime—offering 360° sea views—before returning to Bastia.
Our trips are shaped by a single conviction: no two people experience a journey in quite the same way.
Some prefer to ride solo, finding their own rhythm and conquering mountain passes at their own pace, without waiting for anyone. Others enjoy the camaraderie of a group—sharing a climb, regrouping at the summit, and recounting the day’s ride over an evening drink. Many want a mix of both, depending on how they feel each day. That’s why we’ve designed our trips to let you make that choice, from the first pass to the last.
A few days before departure, you can join a WhatsApp group with fellow travelers setting out on the same day. Everyone rides at their own pace, but the group reconnects at refreshment stops and in the evenings to share updates on road conditions and scenic highlights, relive the day’s stages over dinner, and sometimes even forge new friendships. Our team facilitates the group throughout the entire journey. Your route book and GPX track provide everything you need to ride independently: the itinerary, stage profiles, mountain passes and their difficulty ratings, our recommended stops, and refreshment points.
Ride solo or meet up with others—you don't have to decide right now. That’s the freedom of travel.
